Hello everyone,

Today, we have a difficult announcement to make.

After much consideration, we have decided that OurCord will officially cease operations on July 16th, 2026.

When RickyJS started OurCord in 2022, the goal was simple: connect communities across Discord and create something unique that brought people together. Over time, thousands of messages traveled across the network, countless conversations were shared, and many amazing people became part of the project. For that, we are incredibly grateful.

Unfortunately, despite continued development and improvements, activity across the network has remained extremely low for an extended period of time. Running and maintaining a platform requires an active community, and at this point, OurCord is no longer able to justify the time, effort, and resources required to keep it operating.

Until July 16th, all services will continue to function normally. After that date, the OurCord bot, network infrastructure, website, and related services will be permanently shut down.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who connected a server, sent a message, reported a bug, shared feedback, supported development, or simply gave the project a chance. Even though OurCord's journey is coming to an end, we are proud of what we built together.
