  • Do not discriminate against others based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic.
• Content Rules:
  • Keep all messages appropriate for a diverse, global audience. Avoid sharing explicit, violent, or illegal content.
  • Do not spam any OurCord connected channel with repetitive messages, links, or advertisements.
• Privacy:
  • Do not share personal information (yours or others) in any connected channels.
  • Respect the privacy of others and do not use the app to stalk, dox, or harass users.
• Channel Representation:
  • Ensure that your connected channel aligns with the values and rules of OurCord.
  • Guilds that promote or enable harmful activities will be disconnected and banned from connecting any further channels.
• No Exploits or Abuse:
  • Do not attempt to exploit or disrupt the functionality of OurCord.
  • Report bugs or vulnerabilities responsibly via our in-app support command (/support).
• Moderation Compliance:
  • Follow the instructions of OurCord moderators and administrators.
  • If you encounter an issue, use our in-app systems rather than retaliating in chat.

Terms of Service

• Acceptance of Terms:
  • By using OurCord, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines. Failure to comply may result in termination of access.
• Eligibility:
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use OurCord. Users under the age of 18 should have parental or guardian consent.
• Connection and Usage:
  • Channels you connect will broadcast messages to other connected channels across the global network.
  • You are responsible for ensuring messages sent from your connected channel comply with these guidelines.
• Data Collection and Privacy:
  • We collect minimal data to ensure the functionality of OurCord. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
  • Messages sent through OurCord are distributed but not stored by us permanently.
• Liability:
  • OurCord is not responsible for the content shared by users. OurCord staff will do their best to moderate connected channels, but cannot be held responsible for misuse of our service.
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
• Termination:
  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to OurCord for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these terms or guidelines.
• Changes to the Terms:
  • These Terms of Service and Community Guidelines may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Enforcement

Violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

Reports can be submitted through our official support command (/support) or via the report command in any connected channel (right click on a message, hover over apps, and select “Report” on OurCord).
